A Week of Wedding Research

For this past week my computer has been in the shop. I didn't realize how much I depended on it until it was gone. Besides staying connected to my clients through a friends computer I was not on it much.

So I decided to started my new research project of finding out what brides are doing in a recession. Here are some things that I have noticed from speaking with vendors and brides alike.

There are a lot more brides:

Doing it themselves, this means no planner or day of coordinator.
Booking things at the last minute.
Asking for deep discounts on services.
Have smaller budgets to work with.
Are taking a look at what details are really most important to them.

In my next post I will touch on some of these issues, and give you some insight and options as well.
